1959réf. 332719Berkeley: University of California Press 1959. Hardcover. An uglified ex-library copy this complete set is more for readers than collectors. Volumes I and II respectively xviii 1179 ix 1183--1894p. textblock is handsomely printed and bound with firm handleable signatures and even casing's hinges remain OK. But back to aesthetics: covers and titlepages were desecrated with "library marks" then further ruined with crude attempts to disguise these marks. A once-beautiful set has been dreadfully cheapened. On the plus side well "cheap" is not bad of itself and as stated above the hinges and text-blocks are easily handleable. "Reader's set University of California Press hardcover books
