Bensì, di essere un libro scritto da Pierre Pascal, uno dei più grandi poeti francesi del 900 che visse e lavorò per quarantacinque anni in Italia. Yamatologo, iranista, scrittore, traduttore, editore e soldato, conoscitore di molte lingue antiche e moderne, Pascal ebbe una vita letteraria e umana intensissima. Unico occidentale ad avere lonore di essere ammesso dellAccademia Imperiale della Foresta dei Pennelli e di essere considerato al pari degli eroi giapponesi dallImperatore Hirohito, lavorò anche per lAmbasciata iraniana presso la Santa Sede ai tempi dello Scià. Discepolo di Charles Maurras, amico di dAnnunzio, Mishima, Henry de Montherlant, Guenon ed Evola, fu volontario in Spagna con i franchisti, in Marocco con i legionari contro i ribelli del Rif e nellultimo conflitto mondiale con i francesi di Vichy, tanto da seguirne persino le sorti nel castello di Sigmaringen. Intellettuale cattolico e profondo conoscitore dellesegesi cristiana incontrò più volte Padre Pio, ma si dedicò anche allo studio delle Scienze Tradizionali grazie a maestri del calibro di Alex Carrel, Armand. Il poeta Pascal, collaborazionista legato a Vichy, proscritto dalla Francia nel'45, trovò rifugio da Mussolini presso la R.S.I. Raccolse l'ultima intervista di Mussolini il 2 aprile 1945.
