Il presente lavoro è scritto in un volgare molto limpido e comprensibile, contrariamente alla maggior parte della prosa dello scienziato, scritta in un latino considerato molto contorto, che non giovò alla popolarità dei suoi scritti matematici, rivalutati solo di recente.
