1997In 1966, Bochner curated an exhibition of working drawings collected from artist friends and colleagues. This landmark show of conceptual collaboration included work by Donald Judd, Robert Smithson, Eva Hesse, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Dan Graham, John Cage, and others. Also included were contributions from composers, mathematicians, choreographers, and engineers. The work was Xeroxed and then bound into four identical volumes that were then mounted on pedestals in the center of the gallery. This is a 1997 recreation of that event and includes 4 identical volumes of drawings by Donald Judd, Sol Lewitt, Eva Hesse, Robert Mangold, Dan Graham, John Cage, Carl Andre, Dan Flavin, Jo Baer and numerous others. 4 volumes @ 250 pages each and 1 @ 34 pages with essays by Christophe Cherix, Laurent Jenny, James Meyer. Black and white reproductions. All 5 volumes in a cardboard slipcase. — Testi: Cherix Christophe, Meyer James et al. F.to: 22x29; pagg. 200; BN; rileg. brossura con scatola. Editore: Buchhandlung Walther König, Köln, 1997.

The illustrations color frontispiece 9 color plates with tissue-guards intact a title-page drawing and chapter-head line drawings feature lots of nekkid ladies Ms. Tice's specialty and bear captions along the lines of "She smiled with her legs as she spoke with her torso." This is stated on the limitation page to be one of "1250 copies of which 990 are for America." Although one is usually well-advised to take the professed numbers on these vintage-erotica items with a grain of salt what makes this one especially interesting though is that instead of a number written into the blank space below the statement the single word "presentation" is inked; in addition on the half-title page is a 3-inch-tall original drawing of yet another nudie that is SIGNED by Clara Tice.
