Questa raccolta di poesie di Ferdinando Grossetti è emblematica del suo linguaggio sperimentale e anarcoide rispetto alle regole della metrica e della composizione; non si esagera evocando atmosfere del futurismo più provocatore . “Grossetti propone un campionario di vocalizzazioni a solfeggio irridente, illudente, e di scivolosi sberleffi di corsivo discorrere a singhiozzi e di immaginazione invettiva (anziché inventiva che tanto serve al sistema per darsi arie superiori, superne anzi), sulla immagine allegorica ma contro l'immagine e l'allegoria” (dalla lettera postfazione di Emilio Villa). Grossetti realizza a tempi e correnti alterne l'urgenza del designificare, del de-nominare, cioè abradere il nome al significato per farlo 'scoppiare' o 'saltare': per limare e eliminare l'equivoco discorsivo, scorrente, cioè la vanità del significato, e trovare nuova e schietta esposizione di 'verbum': che è segnale e sigillo di supposto e inconscio potere della parlata, della crescita della parola nella mente e nella materia-uomo-suono. Ferdinando Grossetti, critico musicale ed ex docente del Conservatorio di Napoli da più di quarant'anni milita, con immutato interesse e impegno, in ambienti e circoli di avanguardia. Grossetti è poeta autentico, tanto rigoroso nei contenuti quanto duttile nella forma, dove la sperimentazione linguistica, grafica, cromatica e architettonica nulla concede all'approssimazione e alla convenzione.
