In very good condition with minor handling wear including a soft fold along the right sheet edge in the margin. Top margin likely very slightly trimmed. And two spots of light yellow discoloration in the left margin all well outside of the image area. A second state of 5 impression after the addition of the text in the lower margin including the name of the printer François de Villain. Delteil 45 ii/iv. The artwork serves as an illustration for Lord Byron's 1814 narrative poem Lara depicting the faithful page Khaled supporting the wounded armored knight mounted on a battle horse. Delpech unknown
