These were based on the Hammersmith arts and crafts complex of William Morris, but with many American and Hubbard-ian twists and turns. Until his death on t he S.S. Lusitania, he was one of the most dynamic and famous men in the world. On his first trip abroad his letters home were mostly travelogue, and they became the basis for his first magazine eff ort .
