Major Barry Petersen passed away from cancer in Thailand in 2019. In 1977 Petersen inscribed this copy of Warner's book to 'Cecilia': To my dear Cecilia Thank you for your help and guidance when I was a fifteen year old callow youth some twenty-eight years ago. I've never forgotten you. From an aspiring manager of an antiques shop - I ended up being a soldier. I've thoroughly enjoyed soldiering but never lost my love for antiques. Denis gives me a brief mention on pages 23 to 26; however one day I hope to write the full story. When I do you will be one of the first to get a copy of my book. All the very best for Christmas and the New Year. Take care of yourself and God Bless. There are too few like you. Love Barry 24th December 1977. Hutchinson unknown
