Dalla metà degli anni sessanta esplora le relazioni tra arte linguaggio e immagine attraverso l'uso del neon della fotografia dei video del suono e dei libri d'artista. Parallelamente alla sua attività artistica Nannucci svolge anche una intensa attività editoriale iniziata negli anni sessanta con le edizioni Exempla e più recentemente con Zona Archives e Recorthings pubblicando libri e dischi d'artista multipli e documenti di altri artisti. Work by Landseer Doré Gerome and an army of others depicting characters from Dickens Coleridge the Greek Myths and just about every literary fandom from the 19th century and earlier.
