The "two big nights" of soul featured Marvin Holmes and the Uptights Charlene LaUoir and the Sha-Mars who we find no record of and the Richard and Willie act billed as "Soul Comedians." The latter was a well-known very blue ventriloquism act by Richard Sandfield and his Paul Winchell doll who he painted to make him look Black. He recorded multiple comedy albums the names of which were often raunchy like "Lowdown and Dirty" or "Willie and Rising Dick." None located in OCLC as of September 2026.
