A close to near fine copy in brown cloth boards with a small pencil date to the front free endpaper the top two inches of the half title page have been trimmed and from the library of Lucas Samaras with estate stamp to the half title page some other minor wear. No dust jacket. A somewhat uncommon early book from Steinberg with an interesting provenance. Duell, Sloan & Pearce unknown

Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Pages are toned with a handful of tears some repaired with translucent tape. Dust jacket is soiled and tattered at extremities and split along back hinge but complete. Publisher's price of $12/6 net on DJ flap. DJ protected by a brand new clear acid-free mylar cover. We add mylar covers to all books with DJs to preserve the DJs and add luster to magnify their beauty. Several small chips and closed tears at edges of unclipped $2.50 dust jacket larger chipping over ends of spine; moderate amount of toning minor rubbing to jacket as well; thin blue paint stain about 3 1/2" long on rear jacket panel; jacket arrives wrapped in protective mylar.
