Crumb and his wife aver that completion of the illustrations of this edition of the book the first book of the Old Testament the one with many anonymous authors took over four years. His wife Aline brought him baskets of food to the shepherd's hut in the south of France in which he lived for the duration. After "playing around" with a satirical "send-up" of the book he decided to "play it straight" instead. The result is a SIGNED and DATED copy adjacent to the publisher's logo of The Book of Genesis. 224 pp. with black-and-white illustrations galore. Published by W.W. Norton & Company in October 2009. Stated First Edition First Printing. They were the foundation the source in writing of religious and political power handed down by God himself."Member I.O.B.A. C.B.A. and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
