Written on the cover is "Trees - Leon Moses" and on the first page it says "Trees of New York City & Ferns of N.Y.C." A quick Google search brings up two possible men named Leon Moses. One was born in 1913 and lived in the Bronx and the other is a more well-known Leon Nathan Moses an Economist who was born in New York City in 1924.
