FIRST EDITION AND A VERY EARLY ACCOUNT OF A BRITISH WOMAN'S TIME IN AFRICA. The author lived for several years in Sierra Leone. She informally tells us of the hardships and discomforts but also provides much on the missionaries the climate the natural attributes of the area the slave traders and of the native peoples. Scollamento parziale alla cerniera tra prima carta ed il suddetto piatto anteriore, che non intacca la legatura. Pagine brunite, soprattutto le prime, poi ai tagli. Peraltro, volume in buono stato (good copy).
