Original business card signed and with autograph corrections by Ahmed Cevdet Oran. 5x95 cm. Printed texts and corrections in French; autograph signature and script in Ottoman script on verso. Business card is printed originally under the name and title of Cevdet with an address in Lausanne however Cevdet made two corrections on these like 'Hôtel Grammmont" and "Montreux". Ahmet Cevdet Oran was a Turkish publisher writer and journalist. As one of the first publishers of the Ottoman Empire he has been known as "Ikdamci" since he published the Ikdam newspaper 1894. He was the founder and editorial writer of the newspaper. It is one of the first representatives of the Turkism movement in the media. He is the first person to try rotary printing done with a circular plate technique in the press for the first time. Ahmet Cevdet had to leave the country after the 31 March Incident. It is the flagship publication of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics AIAA featuring fundamental research theoretical developments and experimental results in aerospace engineering fluid mechanics and structural dynamics. The issue spans pages 1953 through 2174 and covers several core aerospace disciplines including: Fluid Dynamics and Aerodynamics: Advanced studies on boundary layers flow separation and computational fluid dynamics CFD. Structural Mechanics and Aeroelasticity: Research into the deformation and dynamic responses of aerospace materials and components. Propulsion and Combustion: Foundational work on jet engine components combustion chambers and aerothermodynamics. The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics AIAA is a professional society for the field of aerospace engineering. The AIAA is the U.S. representative on the International Astronautical Federation and the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences. In 2015 it had more than 30000 members among aerospace professionals worldwide a majority are American or live in the United States. The AIAA was founded in 1963 from the merger of two earlier societies: the American Rocket Society ARS founded in 1930 as the American Interplanetary Society AIS and the Institute of the Aerospace Sciences IAS founded in 1932 as the Institute of the Aeronautical Sciences. Paul Johnston was the first executive director of the organization. Jim Harford took his seat after 18 months. The newly-formed structure gathered 47 technical committees and one broad technical publication the AIAA Journal. The AIAA Student Journal was also launched in 1963. The merger also led to the sale of the organizations' former headquarters buildings and the relocation in the Sperry Rand Building. In 1967 the Technical Committee on Space and Atmospheric Science launched a study to capture the opinion of its members in California on the UFO phenomenon.
