The carefully arranged composition formal clothing and Capitol setting illustrate the importance placed on civic identity and shared experience during the period. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Original panoramic silver gelatin photograph produced using a Cirkut rotating-lens camera system. Lower right corner features the white original studio mark: Schutz Wash. D.C. Margins intact with light age-appropriate edge wear.
