1892Best.-Nr. xxx031Denver: The Railroad View Pub co 1892. Soft cover. Good. This publication came in several covers different designs and colors this copy with red wrappers with raised title in blue in a font common to the time. Cord-tied oblong wraps about 10" x 14". Cord is present but the portfolio is detached and thus free from the covers. 40pp.This copy is from "Eleventh Edition" " 65th Thousand." So obviously publisher Thayer was running off for the tourist trade. Nevertheless there are few copies for sale online. Illustrated with half-tones of Pike's Peak Denver Leadville Aspen Victor Cripple Creek and other locations. Nicely drawn vignettes decorate the white border under the prints. Centerfold is "Gateway to the Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak." Other than the above described separation a nice copy good.
