Colour-pictorial wrappers lightly used with two short repaired tears; contemporary ownership signature in red ink on the front cover with occasional annotations and underlinings to the contents and map; a very good copy. Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev 1945-2001 was the 11th King of Nepal. Although he succeeded his father in 1972 the coronation ceremony did not take place until 24 February 1975 the publication date of this commemorative issue of the directory. [milieu XXème siècle ?], 1 vol. oblong (36 x 10 cm) manuscrit (quelques feuillets imprimés également) de prières bouddistes : mantras et sutras (savoirs considérés comme des vérités absolues). Contient plusieurs ensembles de feuillets mobiles non-paginés. Ils se différencient par le papier utilisé dont l'épaisseur, la nature et la couleur varient, la calligraphie dont la taille, la disposition et la forme changent, et par l'adjonction d'éléments décoratifs ou pas : sur certains feuillets, une partie des caractères est inscrite à l'encre fuchsia, sur d'autres, une divinité est peinte en couleur au centre du feuillet, sur d'autres encore, on trouve des double-filets d'encadrement à l'encre fuchsia ou un lignage gris clair (guide la ligne d'écriture). Les feuillets sont inscrits recto et verso. Ils sont au nombre de 73 (146 pages). Texte en langue tibétaine ou chinoise ? La plupart des feuillets sont calligraphiés à la main avec de l'encre noire. Quelques uns sont imprimés en noir à l'aide de planchettes de bois gravé (taille d'épargne).
