This volume consists of two issues of the Argentine Geographical Institute journal bound together. The first issue appears to be complete but the second issue just has 3 extracted articles that relate to the Antarctic. The first issue appears to be totally devoted to the Antarctic and many of the articles relate to the recently rescued Swedish Antarctic Expedition. Authors include Skottsberg Nordenskjold Anderson Charcot and Jalour. The second issue includes articles by Scott Harvey and Rudmore Brown. This very scarce Argentine Journal is printed on poor quality paper which probably contributed to its scarcity. The front endpaper is inscribed in Spanish with the following: To His Excellence the President of the delegation of the Republic of Peru at the VIII Pan American Conference at Montevideo in my personal affections and signed perhaps by Francisco Segui who was the editor of the Journal. Not a prime copy but very very scarce. 1904 Local Del Instituto: Arenales 687 hardcover
