The publication coincides with the Northwest Territory Celebration and contains the story pf westward migration Burr's conspiracy the city's role as an agricultural dairy paper making center. the paper used in the books was locally made and the Greek Revival architecture. The book follows the pattern of most guides. Dard Hunter is credited with some of the drawings probably the chapter headings. Background Information: During the Great Depression of the 1930s thousands of writers were hired by the Works Project Administration to create hundreds of guidebooks on all of the states in the U.S. These volumes that were produced became known as the American Guide Series. 2012China-Greece: Ancient Peoples, Changing Worlds presents 130 color photographs of these two countries illustrating the rapid changes that have, and are taking place in each. The Greek photographs are from the 1950s and 1960s and the Chinese from 2006. The text is provided in both English and Greek. This is Mr. McCabe's eighth book of photographs and his first with color photographs of Greece.
