Gregor was an English landowner and MP for Cornwall from 1709-1806. Here he is highly critical of notable radicals Thomas Hardy John Horne Tooke John Thelwall and Robert Watt not so much for their beliefs in reform as their methods and enthusiasm which he deems "rash intemperate and improvident." He further criticizes the Constitutional and London Corresponding Societies for condoning and even celebrating the acts of these radicals citing evidence from their trials to highlight their destructive nature.
