2011br.

His spectacular and tumultuous career as a travelling virtuoso led him into the arms of countesses and princesses from one end of Europe to the other. His brilliance, showmanship and unforgetable personality covered a deeply divided and self-doubting mind, struggling to reconcile the ambitions of a serious composer with the corrupting glory of public adoration." - from dust jacket.
