Nel testo sono presenti anche diversi capitoli che trattano il movimento delle voci e la loro disposizione (voicings), le scale e il loro abbinamento con gli accordi e infine le tecniche utili anche per l'arrangiamento, quali l'armonizzazione a block chords e le sostituzioni armoniche.
