Semplicemente prende buona nota che i media non mediano, che adolescenti, giovani e giovani adulti, così appassionatamente devoti ai loro gadget elettronici, spesso non sono in grado di padroneggiare razionalmente il flusso torrentizio delle informazioni indiscriminate e di costruirsi una loro tavola delle priorità. La tentazione, per i genitori indaffarati fuori casa, per insegnanti demotivati e per chiese deserte, è forte: si tende ad affidare ai media, eticamente irresponsabili, il difficile compito della socializzazione primaria.
