The second part introduces the concept of potential, again starting with electrical potential, and proceeds to applications in gravitation, electric conduction, fluid flow through permeable media, conductive heat transfer, ideal fluid flow, and magnetism. Attention is given to static fields, and although there is a chapter on electromagnetic induction, time -varying fields are not included.
