VIII - fasc. III, p. 269-330) e 1893 (t. IX - fasc. III, p. 293-359). Il 'Commentaire ..' si sviluppa in una terza parte (qui mancante), 'Les équations générales de la Thermodynamique', che sta nel tomo X, p. 207-285, del 1894. Edizioni originali. Brunita la carta in bianco all'inizio e alla fine del volume; marcate fioriture sul retro del ritratto di Duhem, nella memoria di Emile Picard. Nella parte prima del 'Commentaire', rade occasionali fioriture, marcata brunitura della pagina iniziale (p. 269); nella parte seconda, trascurabile strappetto sull'orlo esterno di p. 341 e mancanza sull'orlo inferiore di p. 359; in entrambi le parti, una nota coeva manoscritta, al piede della pagina iniziale, riporta l'indicazione del tomo e fascicolo da cui furono estratte. Nel complesso, esemplari buoni, discreto per la parte prima del 'Commentaire'.

Tomus primus : "Physicam Generalem complectens", 1769, pp. (8),XXXII,563,(9), con due capolettera ornati, 3 finalini xilografici, 4 tavole incise in rame più volte ripiegate. Tomus secundus : "Phisycam Particularem complectens", 1770, 693,(3), con un capolettera ornato, 5 tavole incise in rame più volte ripiegate. Pochi, insignificanti forellini di tarlo alle legature ed ai risguardi, tagli di testa leggermente smarginati, alcuni fascicoli lievemente bruniti in maniera uniforme, peraltro tomi solidi e ben conservati.
