La sua "teoria unitaria del mondo fisico e biologico" tenta di collegare armonicamente, in una visione unitaria, i fenomeni fisici, chimici e biologici e dimostrare che in natura esiste una doppia tendenza: una verso l'ordine e l'altra verso il disordine.
