La vicenda scientifica della cosiddetta Particella di Dio rappresenta un momento fondamentale per far cominciare una nuova era dell'Umanità. Il Modello Fisico Standard è colpevole di rallentare questo passaggio. Per diventare, infatti, la Bibbia della Fisica gli mancano ancora due importanti tasselli: il Bosone di Higgs - la Particella di Dio - (che si pensa conferisca la massa) e il Bosone gravitone (che si crede conferisca il peso). L'annuncio del CERN della scoperta del Bosone Higgs, lascia comunque incompleto questo modello: manca ancora il secondo tassello. E sarà duro scoprirlo, visto che delle onde gravitazionali non c'è traccia, poiché la gravità potrebbe non essere quello che tutti i Fisici pensano che sia. Il fisico e medico Massimo Corbucci ha la soluzione più scioccante: il conferimento della massa e del peso avvengono per effetto dello stesso quid. Questa scoperta è sufficiente a rivoluzionare completamente la nostra conoscenza della struttura della materia di cui siamo fatti e in cui viviamo.
