1960Milano, 1960, stralcio con copertina posticcia muta, pp. 1061/1072 con numerose illustrazioni e tavole fotografiche. - !! - !! ATTENTION !!: : NOT A BOOK : “estratto” or “stralcio” means simply a few pages, original nonetheless, printed in a magazine. Pages are indicated as in "from” “to", for example: 229/231 means the text comprises three pages (229, 230 and 231). If the magazine that contained the pages is not mentioned, it is because it is unknown to us.

1963The author was sent by the Dominion Wildlife Service to the Barren lands of Keewatin to investigate the wolf population. This book is the entertaining account of his adventures there. His conviction that the wolves were much maligned as being a problem gained popular support for his contention that wolves be recognized as an integral part of the northern ecosystem. When challenged on the veracity of this book he commented. "I took some pride in having it known that I never let facts get in the way of a good story." 247p.Nivce clean copy of the first edition in 2nd. state book jacket by Frank Newfeld. Book
