1952réf. 10034New York: Macmillan 1952. Reddish hardcover cloth binding clean square and tight with some foxing on endpapers. DJ has chips and a few closed tears. Inscribed on ffep: "To Linda from Andy". DJ flap has in ink a notation that states: Linda = his grand step-daughter. Bought at auction. S. Carver." Checking the way Andy is signed vs. signatures of C. W. Anderson which I have seen the "A" "n" and "d" are consistent. He had a stepson who did have a daughter and his family and friends did call him Andy so I do believe this is an authentic inscription to a family member. 99 pages.
