1850In -folio, 43 cc. rilegate in mezza pelle e carta marmorizzata. Early and important researches on octopusses: Stefano delle Chiaie was a neapolitan scientist committed to many subjects, and between them the study of mollusks, argument of this manuscript that’s part of the work which Delle Chiaie dedicated himself to in the later part of his scientific career, i.e. the edition of manuscripts of his ancient colleague and master Filippo Cavolini, suddenly dead by an accident while doing his sea researches in Naples’ Gulf.
