1968réf. 150411N.p.: N.p. 1968. Two vintage borderless reference photographs from the 1968 film one showing actors Beryl Reid and Susannah York the other showing director Robert Aldrich. A tyrannical aging actress is a long-standing staple on a soap opera but her increasingly unstable behavior causes the producers to kill off her character. As she spirals out of control she lashes out at her lover a young and beautiful actress. Director Aldrich spent $75000 fighting the film's mature rating earned as a result of its explicit content most notably a sex scene between two women which limited the film's screening and advertisement platforms but was unsuccessful. Shot on location in London. Approximately 7.5 x 9.5 inches. Near Fine. N.p. unknown
