The whole style design finish and workmanship of this elegant set of harness are in the main original and if placed in fair competition with the finest productions of European manufacturers would undoubtedly secure the highest honors." Another member of the family Augustus Haedrich manufactured carriages and was president of the building association in Philadelphia. Lastly Emma Kirkham née Wootton is captioned as the cousin to Haedrich. Kirkham was a practicing Mormon who was active in the Young Ladies Retrenchment Association as second consular in Lehi Utah.
