Precedono il testo in grandi caratteri tondi la dedica del traduttore ed un Proemio. Al verso dell'ultima c. "Stampado in Venetia per maistro Zuanne de Trino: chimato sic Tacuino: del anno de la nativita de Christo. m.d.vi. adi. vi. de marzo 1506: regnante linclito Principe Leonardo Lauredano". Il volume � magnificamente illustrato da 105 piccole figure xilografate nel testo alcune ripetute con ritratti di donna a figura intera ambientate in vari tipi di paesaggi ed ornato da grandi iniziali su fondo nero. "Prima traduzione italiana" ad opera di Vincenzo Bagli molto rara. Cfr. Nel suo complesso il "De claris mulieribus" � un compromesso tra l�erudizione storica e la novella un piacevole libro di erudizione con episodiche infusioni di moralit��. Cos� Diz. Al contrario secondo lo Zambrini Cambio di Stefano sarebbe il vero autore dell�Urbano trasformazione del �Libro Imperiale��.
