Black leather binding inlayed with wood veneer to both upper and lower covers into which a window has been cut out in the shape of a parallelogram leaving a small bevelled black leather frame inside the window is paper smeared with black reflective silver and metallic copper the endpapers are of the same black smeared paper gilt-stamped title on a matching black leather label. Housed in a striking box made of black cloth with a latched wooden door each door bearing a window of black cloth covered with a wooden lattice. Once unlatched one door folds open revealing a felt-lined wooden drawer with a brass-like pull-drawer handle. The whole book and cabinet is then stored in a sturdy natural-linen covered clamshell box gilt-stamped title to spine on a piece of the wood veneer in the shape of a parallelogram.
