A look at that was first published in the 1930s and is an examination of political powers in Europe and beyond European borders. In the Forward the author states "This book was written before the conclusion of the treaty between Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany and before the outbreak of war. It's general argument and conclusion seem to me to be confirmed by these events and I have therefore left the text exactly as it was written even though in some sentences present tenses have now become past Presidents ex-Presidents and the probabilities certainties." Bumping of the book corners with rubbing along the lower edges of the book and bumping to the top rear edge. Softening of the back strip edges with quite marks fading and staining the same area. Rugs marks and stains to the book panels with fine white spotting to the front panel. Uniform tanning of the text block edges and pages. A previous owner has underlined some of the text and placed marks against paragraphs � in a black pencil. First edition of the work in this format and binding and/or set or series.
