Very poor (in very poor condition throughout, the blue cloth boards are very stained and soiled with damp mottling down the length of the spine, edges worn and all corners bumped, tipped on colour plate of rider on horseback with Union Flag remains intact but lightly marked, there is a great deal of pencil scribble over all endpapers and prelims and on several pages with grubby marks etc., the title page and prelims are missing, there is quite heavy browning to all page edges and the binding is loose and pages shaken, half of one page is missing, reading copy only) quarto 153pp. Illustrated with sepia and coloured plates, prints and drawings.
