Cependant il peut lui allouer un secours " et c'est ce que je puis faire incessamment ". La correction du " je puis " et la signature sont de Courvoisier. Le bandeau "BOUQUINERIE AURORE" visible sur le scan n'est bien-sûr pas présent sur le document original, il n'a été placé ici que pour garder le caractère unique du document.‎

‎Lorsqu'en 1924 parut, "La Terre des Prêtres", son auteur, Yves Le Febvre, morlaisien d'origine et ancien juge à Plouescat durant de longue années, se doutait que l'ouvrage scandaliserait les cléricaux, mais pas au point de se voir intenter un long "Procès d'Eglise" ni de lui valoir tant d'insultes. Si la lutte des cléricaux et des anticléricaux a bien vieilli à ce jour, ce roman reste une des vivantes descriptions du Pays du Léon. ‎A l'Empereur, il fait état de ses services antérieurs et: je la supplie de me nommer à une place de procureur général, ou de Président dans l'institution judiciaire qu'elle forme en Toscane...avec un état de ses services (à la 3°personne).(2pp.1/2 (330x215mm). On joint 4 lettres signées par Régnier, duc de Massa, concernant cette démarche et sa nomination de Procureur Général Impérial près la cour d'appel de Rome, 2 sont destinées au Duc d'Otrante (1810), 1 à Legonidec (1810), 1 au sénateur Roger Ducos (1808).( chacune d'une page, même format, avec en-tête.‎

‎Ce magistrat connut une intéressante carrière: avocat au Parlement de Paris en 1787, il passa à St-Domingue de 1789 à 1793, époque à laquelle, proscrit par les commissaires du gouvernement, il s'enfuit aux Etats-Unis sans ressources, sans en connaître la langue, il y fonda un journal et se fit nommer Chancelier du Consulat français à Boston. En 1797 il est Procureur général des Landes puis membre du Tribunat, il passe quelque temps comme commissaire de justice aux Iles de France et de la Réunion, il est à Rome en 1810 et, de 1815 à sa mort, il est conseiller à la Cour de Cassation.‎
