‎This is a fine softcover copy with no wear at all. Completely clean inside and out. Feels unused. Text in Chinese. A one page essay in English titled: 'Mak Fei's Artistic Career'. Mak Fei (1916- 2007) was born in China, Guangdong Province. He graduated art school in 1938 and became a member of the well known 'Cartoonists' Propaganda Team Against Japan'. He eventually offended the Chinese Communist Party and in 1964 was sentenced to 15 years of reeducation in the countryside. He finally made his way to America where he lived out the rest of his life. English titles for the various sections: 'The Anti-Japanese War Period'; 'The Taiwan Period'; 'The Hong Kong War Period'; 'Wood Engravings'; 'Character Sketches'; 'Paintings'.
