In existence from 1933 to 1956 Black Mountain College enrolled less than 1200 students and was one of the most notable experimental institutions in art education and practice that grew out of the progressive education movement. Charles Olson 1910-1970 the avante garde poet was hired by Black Mountain College as a visiting professor in 1951. He eventually became the school's rector. Olson's ideas of verse had a profound incluence an a generation of poets. Offered here are FOUR COPIES of THIS - BROADSIDE NO 1.
