Alexander Ennis Patton 1852-1904 became the president of the First National Bank of Patton when it was established in 1893 and was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate in 1900. The First National Bank of Altoona was established in 1863; by 1905 John Lloyd formerly the cashier had become the president following the death of his father A. M. Lloyd the first president of the bank.
