Leggera sgualcitura ma ottimo documento storico.

Fomentato e sostenuto dagli inglesi e dall’Unione Sovietica il movimento insurrezionale comunista guidato da Tito prese piede in tutta la Jugoslavia scontrandosi non solo contro le forze occupanti dell’Asse, ma anche contro formazioni partigiane nazionaliste e filo monarchiche. L’opera di Oddone Talpo, che fu testimone di quei tristi eventi, è senza dubbio la più completa sull’argomento e di basa su approfondite ricerche sia archivistiche, sia bibliografiche, sia di testimonianze di reduci. Il volume è il secondo di una serie che, quando completata, abbraccerà il periodo compreso tra il 1941 ed il 1943. L’opera tratta gli avvenimenti storici, militari, politici e sociali del 1942 che si sono sviluppati nel territorio dalmato: operazioni della 2^ Armata contro i partigiani, conflitti tra Roma e Zagabria, fra le Autorità civili e militari italiane, fra Comandi tedeschi ed il Comando Supremo, fra cetnici e partigiani, iniziative sociali ed amministrative del Governo della Dalmazia.
