The binding is of light blue cloth with stamped decoration of the farrier's dog and his fellow holding a broadside of the title and author's name in gilt lettering. The binding is solid overall clean in appearance with some soiling and rubbing yet still firm and pleasing to the eye. Spine toned with some wear at the head and tail but title author's name and publisher remain easily readable. A very slight twist to the spine. FFendpaper has been neatly and gently removed. The text and all illustrations are present and firmly bound in. A few page margins have some spotting but the text remains unaffected. A rare find in any condition. First Printing. Dec.
