Sebbene al piatto anteriore della copertina siano anche indicate 'Le interpretazioni di Mossotti ai versi astronomici della Divina Commedia', all'interno non compaiono. Si tratta di una pubblicazione che si rifa' perfettamente nelle prime due parti a quella uscita a Pisa da Nistri nel 1867 (anche se questa e' priva di dati editoriali). Manca poi la terza parte, annunciata sulla copertina e di fatto presente nell'edizione Nistri, con le interpretazioni di Mossotti a Dante.
