‎br. Quella di Romero è una grande storia in un Paese che ha avuto anni terribili. Mostra come un vescovo e una Chiesa possono essere uno spazio di pace, mentre tutto crolla sotto i colpi di una violenza insensata. In una situazione diffi cilissima e polarizzata, Romero fu vescovo di tutti perché amico dei poveri e della pace. I poveri erano al centro delle sue preoccupazioni, perché egli riconosceva in loro la misteriosa presenza del Signore. La vicinanza ai poveri fu la bussola della sua vita. Come predicava il 5 febbraio 1978: «C'è un criterio per sapere se Dio sta vicino o lontano da noi: chiunque si preoccupi dell'affamato, del nudo, del povero, dello scomparso, del torturato, del prigioniero, di tutta questa carne che soffre, ha vicino Dio». Romero consolava il suo popolo, fatto di contadini umiliati da secoli, di donne e uomini senza futuro. Era la loro speranza e la loro voce. Una figura di grande spessore spirituale: non un politico, ma un pastore. Un nuovo Santo amico dei poveri e uomo di pace.‎

‎Das "Alphabet Raisonné" ist ein experimentelles Schreibsystem, das im vorliegenden Werk 1803 von Pater Jean-Marie Moussaud entwickelt wurde. Moussauds erklärtes Ziel war es, zu den Ursprüngen des lateinischen Alphabets zurückzukehren, um sich einem perfekten Alphabet anzunähern. Er ging davon aus, dass das zu seiner Zeit verwendete Alphabet nur das Ergebnis einer schrittweisen Verschlechterung und Verfremdung eines sehr viel reicheren und elaborierten Systems sei. - Ecken und Kapitale leicht berieben und bestoßen. Insgesamt etwas angestaubt. Reste eines runden Etikettes auf den vorderen Innendeckeln. Exlibris Edouard Witels auf dem vorderen Innendeckel von Band 2. Papier durchgängig gewellt, mit gelegentlichen einzelnen Braunflecken, sonst jedoch gutes Exemplar des buch- und ideengeschichtlich interessanten Werkes. - L'Alphabet raisonné est un système d'écriture expérimental mis au point par l'abbé Jean-Marie Moussaud en 1803. Le but recherché par Moussaud est de revenenir aux origines de l'alphabet latin pour se rapprocher de la perfection, car il pense, comme de nombreux de ses contemporains, que les alphabets successifs que nous utilisons aujourd'hui ne sont que le fruit de la détérioration d'un système très au point et très riche. En d'autres termes, Moussaud est à la recherche de l'alphabet idéal où chaque lettres qui le constituent sont motivées.‎

Le sue parole così come il suo agire hanno contribuito a delineare un nuovo modo di intendere i rapporti tra Nord e Sud del mondo, muovendo nella permanente ricerca di nuove soggettività sociali, culturali e politiche, offrendo al tempo stesso una lucida interpretazione dei processi di trasformazione globale.‎
