Quasi certamente il modo in cui il problema energetico verrà affrontato nei prossimi dieci o venti anni avrà conseguenze rilevanti sul modo di vivere di tutti noi. È molto viva l'esigenza, da parte di studenti e insegnanti, di affrontare questi temi, all'interno dei corsi di fisica e delle altre discipline scientifiche nella scuola secondaria: ciò permette da una parte di verificare l'utilità e l'efficacia di molti concetti normalmente trattati nei corsi, mettendo così in rilievo l'importanza culturale delle discipline scientifiche, come strumenti di interpretazione della realtà in cui si vive e non come semplice successione di informazioni. D'altra parte l'esame del problema energetico porta ad introdurre, in modo molto naturale, alcuni temi scientifici di grande interesse, dall'efficienza termodinamica alla fisica nucleare, che normalmente non hanno una collocazione nei percorsi didattici tradizionali. Rilegatura: Cartonato in pergamena coeva, legatura molto solida. . Stato: Buono . Caratteristiche: Dimensioni cm19*12,5. Di difficile comprensione il numero esatto delle tavole che dovrebbero essere presenti, vista la presenza di più varianti della stessa edizione (in alcuni casi 22, 23 o anchee 24 tavole. In questo caso probabilmente manca la prima tavola a fondo volume (avrebbe dovuto contenere le figure 1,2 ma non sempre l'indicazione è corretta con il testo), ma è presente una tavola ripiegata tra le pagine 262 e 263. Interessantissimo trattato a forma di dialogo comprendente quattro capitoli principali trattanti Filosofia, Fisica (Molto citato e commentato I.Newton), Somatologia, Cosmologia (Universo, Sole, Luna, Pianeti, Comete, Stelle), Aerologia (Aria, Venti, Meteore, Apparenze celesti), Geologia (Globo, Pietre Metalli Minerali, Acqua Mari Fiumi Fonti, Piante, Corpi animati). Molto interessante la tavola ripiegata sulla Estimazione della gravità specifica dei Solidi e dei Fluidi. .
