There is a 0.25 " tear to the top left-hand corner of the rear dustwrapper panel with an associated creasing that runs the full width of the rear dustwrapper panel. There is no obvious publication data but given the book's production and reproduction of the photographs late 1950s or early 1960s would be a good guess. A look at "primitive peoples" throughout the world in the middle part of the 20th century. The author looks in detail at 14 Tribes throughout the world including the Arunta people of Australia and gives a detailed telling of their life styles and their status in the modern world at that time.
