Reliure en pleine basane blonde d'époque. Dos à nerfs de feuilles et fleurons dans des caissons. Roulettes en queue. coiffes arasées. Coins émoussés. Frottements et épidermures. Rousseurs. L'auteur a étudié l'ensemble des maladies génitales connues jusqu'alors, prenant soin de les séparer de la syphillis. Plusieurs chapitres sont consacrés aux remèdes (l'auteur en cite d'exotiques, d'inde ou autre, sans les avoir expérimenter), d'autres s'occupent de maladies vénériennes récentes dont une apparue aux Canada, et dont les malades perdent des membres, une autre en Afrique, etc... Ensemble d'un intérêt certain dans le domaine, notamment parce que l'auteur n'oublie jamais l'histoire des maladies, les différents pays et continents dals lesquelles les maladies sévissent... l'ouvrage regorgeant de notes curieuses.
