Francesco Gera (Conegliano, 1803 – Conegliano, 1867) è stato un agronomo italiano. Alla sua attività di medico affiancò studi e ricerche nel settore agrario, affermandosi nel campo della bacologia e della sericoltura. Diverse furono le sue pubblicazioni su questi temi tra cui: seta, patate, barbabietole, caseificio e temi di zootecnica ed economia rurale. Pubblicò il “Nuovo dizionario universale e ragionato di agricoltura”, fondò il giornale “Il Coltivatore”. In quest'ambito fu particolarmente attivo nella divulgazione delle scienze agrarie, proponendo un “Catechismo illustrato agrario” a scopo pedagogico. Nel 1863 si prodigò per la fondazione del primo esperimento di Scuola agraria teorico-pratica delle province venete ed è quindi considerato uno dei precursori della Scuola enologica di Conegliano. Esemplare arricciato e ingiallito ai tagli, buono l'interno.
