Several pages had their corners turned and one page had both corners mildly creased plus a little bit of the leading edge which caused a tiny closed tear to the very edge. Vishniac's photographs only a small fraction of the 16000 he took show us the faces of people soon to die a world that has vanished. His photographs are beautiful and haunting.
